2026 Football Registration - Grades 7 & 8

2026 Registration ~7th & 8th Grade Tackle Football

All players will be placed in a waitlist upon registering. The payment will be requested at a later date.

Attendance & Commitment

Football is a physically and mentally demanding team sport. A team can only be successful, when every player knows and performs the specific task assigned to them on each play. This knowledge and ability to perform these tasks can only be learned and developed at practice. Since their are so many skills on both sides of the ball (Offense & Defense) every practice focuses on different skills, which are often not repeated at the next practice. In order to be prepared for the rigor of each game, attendance at all practices is mandatory.

We believe youth athletes should participate in multiple sports, however we also believe in and respect the priority sport of each season. By registering to participate in EBD Football you agree to prioritize football in the fall and will not miss practices or games to participate in other sporting events. Excessive absences will result in removal from the roster.

Safety & Instruction

We have implemented the Football Development Model created by USA Football, as a way to offer football to a wider audience and make the game better and safer for everybody. This new model is designed to make the game safer by reducing contact and teaching the game based on an athlete's age, the skill they are learning, and game type.

Learning in a progression – by an athlete’s age, each skill and game type (Rookie Tackle, Full Tackle)

Offering more ways to transition from the backyard to a full field.

All Coaches are USA Football certified in the newest and safest techniques. We have CPR, AED & First Aid Certified Coaches on site. We employ certified Paramedics for all Home Games.

Equipment

We provide: Helmet, Shoulder Pads, & Practice Jersey

Player Provide: Integrated Practice Pants, Cleats & Mouthpiece, Game Uniforms

*Players may purchase their own Helmet to use. Must be Youth Royal Blue with Green Bay Packer Gold Facemask.

Coaches and Volunteers

We are a volunteer run program. Our Volunteers fill a key role in running organizations, handling day-to-day tasks, and raising funds. Without them, our organizations might not exist. Please consider volunteering and being part of a tradition that is over 50 years old.
